has enjoyed an extensive career as a soprano and jazz singer around the world. She has performed as a soloist with symphony orchestras, including numerous concerts with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra. In addition, she has sung with jazz ensembles and bands across the United States. Most recently, Mary has released an album of popular Thai songs and jazz favorites entitled "ºØ¾à¾Êѹ¹ÔÇÒÊ & Popular Jazz Favorites." She also recorded an album of favorite Thai songs by songwriter Boyd Kosiyapong, including the hit song from the film "The Happiness of Kati." Mary toured the United States and abroad as the only female member of the award-winning a cappella ensemble Extempo for three years. During that time, the group recorded two award-winning CDs and was nominated for several CARAs (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards), awards given annually by the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America (CASA). Mary was also nominated two consecutive years as Female Vocalist of the Year by CASA. She recorded a critically acclaimed solo CD. Her solo recitals and performances have been well-received around the world, including audiences in Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Taipei and across the United States. The Charleston Post and Courier newspaper has praised Mary as a "gifted vocalist," able to deliver programs with "style and sensitivity….Her light and creamy soprano is well-supported by both deep musicality and stylistic versatility." Before launching her career as a soloist, Mary enjoyed an extensive career as a studio vocalist and television performer. Her credits include dozens of professional recordings, television programs and radio broadcasts. She was in great demand as a television performer and musical advisor in Seoul, Korea, where she lived for several years.
